Mini sessions are an ECONOMICAL way to capture some gorgeous images throughout the year.
These special sessions are great for everything from small families, college grads or high school seniors, to couples, and even for expecting mothers. I am casual about who, and focused on using the location and time we have together capturing the images that you are dreaming of.
Mini sessions are only available on specific dates and at specific locations. I typically host minis 4-8 times a year. I have a waiting list for mini sessions and limited locations for these sessions. Minis are available for immediate families of up to 4-8 people (depending on the location). If you want to get on my waiting list for my upcoming minis, reach out sooner than later, because my minis do book out quickly!
With a mini session, you will get:
- Up to 20 minutes of photography on site, for one immediate family, (trust me, 20 minutes is plenty, we will get so many cute photos in this time)!
- My 'what to wear guide' and tips to prepare for your session.
- 20 high resolution edited images, these will be the very best images from your session, selected by me.
- An online gallery to easily download and share your photos, and a direct gallery link to purchase high quality prints, holiday cards and wall art from my favorite professional printing lab.
- A personal use release and a print release, to share the images on your personal social media and print your images at the print lab of your choice.

lilac bushes in early may
These are always the most adventurous and beautiful sessions of the year. I love the blossoms and getting to capture the more close up and cropped images for couples and small families.
I recommend 1-4 clients maximum for this location.
Bountiful pond in early july
This location has my favorite lighting of any location. The way it glows through the lush overgrowth during early summer is a personal favorite. This location has a large amount of mosquitos, but if you can tolerate dousing yourselves in bug spray, the results will be worth it.
I recommend groups of 1-8 for this location. Mini sessions cover 1-4, and if you have 5-8 people, you will need to purchase 2 back to back mini sessions.
Downtown bountiful in may
These sessions will be hosted in May, and possibly over the summer and fall. I recommend a small group of 1-3 people for these.
You can get ice cream at the end for some extra sweet photos!
Cherry Blossom Minis in april
This location can get really crowded, so I like to do morning sessions here on a weekday, 8am-10am. I recommend wearing light tones of clothing for this spot especially.
This location is best for one immediate family or a couple or individual, no more than 8 people.
Saltair Beach Minis in may
This location is lovely year round, but I try to do sessions here when it's a little warmer timv e of year. The bugs come out after the sun sets, but as long as you wear spray, you will be just fine, and the photos well worth it!
This spot can be a bit windy, so I recommend hair styles and clothing that will not be affected so much by the wind, like pants and a ponytail.
Studio Minis february
I will be offering studio minis at 2 different studios this spring. One in bluffdale and one in Taylorsville. They both has beautiful light and a fair amount of props for variety. I recommend this for families of 2-8 people maximum.
The best thing about the studio is that we can do photos during the day instead of late evening, and the weather can't ruin our session!
Grad Photo Minis at President's Circle at the University of utah
I like to offer these every spring for new grads and even high school seniors. I love the light late afternoon until sunset, and use 3 locations at President's circle to document the occasion!
