Ashton Garden Bridal Session
ashton garden tulip festival
This festival happens every April-May, and is a sight to behold. People travel from all over the United States to see these blooms, and they aren't even the only flowers in bloom during this gorgeous season. There might be crowds on weekend evenings, but even on a bustling Saturday, we were able to capture all of these stunning portraits for bride to be, Maleena, at the same spot her sister had bridals years earlier, the famous Ashton Garden.
The tulip festival at ashton gardens in Lehi
My favorite spot to photograph Maleena, with the tulips, was in the Secret Garden. I was able to shoot through the colorful blooms to her sitting on a bench, putting the color close to her, instead of at her feet. I also liked the front entrance, before even paying to enter the gardens, there is a ton of blooms lining the entrance path, and those photographed beautifully while I sat Maleena on a blanket on the ground and did some close ups, with color all behind her at the tulip festival in Utah.
Ashton garden secret garden photos
You can get to the Secret Garden if you follow the path, and go under the dark archway, near the living christ installment. Once inside, there are several areas where you can sit and relax. There are also some lovely little alcoves which make great places to read a book or just enjoy the peace and quiet. The Ashton garden is home to many species of plants and flowers, and is open daily to visitors.
The photography pass is $100 for non-members, and $90 for members. I have a family pass, plus 2 free guests, so we would not have to buy tickets if you wanted to schedule your bridals or engagement session at the garden as well!
