Mantua poppy field Family Photos

I love the Mantua poppy field, which is in bloom for about 2 weeks in July every year. It is open to the public, but it is important to not damage the flowers or the private campground that manages the property will rope it off. It is free to shoot there, but mornings are much easier to find parking and avoid crowds.

I only schedule full sessions at this location, because we will be waiting our turn for spots, and having to photo shop people from the background as they walk around us, and you will get the same amount of photos as a mini session. Trust me, the photos are so worth it.

where is the mantua poppy field?

Box Elder Campground in Mantua, Utah. You can search for it in google maps and it will bring up the right location. It is at the bottom of a long dirt road, within a campground. You will see the poppies as you turn into the camp site, but keep driving until you get to a large parking lot, where the sun will set behind your subject and the entire field will be behind them on the hill!
