Addie & Benjamin invited their family and friends to the temple! I loved getting to photograph their important guests while we all waited outside anticipating their temple exit!
And they're married!
Addie & Benjamin were married at the Logan Temple in Logan, UT. They had a traditional ceremony with family members and friends present. After the ceremony, I captured their exit, and we all went around the back of the Temple, outside, to take some pictures.
The Temple never disappoints for a Logan Utah Wedding.

Bridal Photos at the Logan Temple
I love bridals at the Logan Temple, right after the family has left, and we have a few minutes to let the couple be together. It is usually tempting for the couple to skip over these but they're, in my opinion, the most important photos of the day, so I try to encourage not skipping them and spending about 20-30 minutes getting several locations!
Logan Temple Sealing
Parent Recreation Photos
Addie's mom and dad were sealed at the Logan Temple. They only had a few candid photos from the day, in black and white film that her brother had snapped. I didn't know we were going to do this recreation, but it was the most wonderful surprise! Addie changed into her mom's dress, that was made by her Grandmother. Addie & Ben laughed and posed, how they remembered her parents posing, and these are some of my favorite photos of the day!
I do wish I had seen the photo before hand, to help ensure it was a more exact recreation, but ultimately they did a fantastic job making these really special recreation photos reminiscent of the temple photos they have from her parent's sealing!
The Foundry Venue
at The Foundry in Salt Lake City
I love the foundry!
This space is so full of natural light, white walls and a cool brick wall. The Bride's room is large and comfortable with a large comfy couch and chairs, full mirror, a mini fridge, and a private bathroom. The wood tables are stunning and the garage door exit was really awesome for the grand exit!
Reasons to have a Receiving Line
I never mind when the couple does a receiving line, because it gives me time to photograph all of their guests and decoration details!

Addie & Ben had friends and family handle the food, and it was absolutely delicious.

Utah Wedding Cakes
This tradition is always entertaining to me. How long does it take the couple to figure out how to cut their huge cake? Do the smash or kindly feed each other the cake?
Family Traditions
Ben's Mom always shares a book that was a childhood favorite, and she puts pictures and phrases from their childhood into the pages. It was a special moment. The other family members each pick a gift to give to the new couple and toasts them this way. I thought this was a unique and special part of Addie & Ben's wedding reception!

Party time!
After the first dance, we went right into the dance party. Some guests enjoyed their dessert while others just enjoyed the dance party.

It was such a beautiful day and I am so happy for Addie & Ben!
